Policies

First off, congratulations on owning a Macht product! We'll do our best to outline a few policies in this section to ensure that we all get along and have you coming back for more.

Lifetime Warranty

Things in this life are subject to perish at one point or another. And like all things, even the highest quality leather or brass will see its day. Nevertheless, we are confident in our workmanship and the materials that we use; we stand by our work and behind the products that we produce.

With that being said, leather is a natural product and its beauty becomes more apparent with each use. We design and construct each of our products to stand the test of time. 

Every completed product is inspected for flaws defects. If it passes, it is stamped with the craftsman's seal and the Seal of Product Quality.

If any issues arise with your product caused by normal everyday use and wear, we will gladly carry out any repairs or replacements free of charge (not including shipping).

What we will not repair or replace:

  • Scuff marks or scratches caused by regular use
  • Products that were dismantled for any conceivable reason
  • Products on which a repair was carried out other than the craftsman at Macht
  • If fluid has been messed on a product, causing the leather to change shape and/or become brittle
Refunds and returns

We like to maintain a high standard of product quality so that our customers won't have to return their purchases. 

There are, however, a few circumstances in which we won't accept returns or refunds. 

We won't accept returns or refunds if:

  • You simply changed your mind
  • If a product is custom-measured, such as our belts
  • If a product gets damaged or ruined as a result of customer negligence

Shipping

While we endevour to send all products out as soon as possible, we can't emphasise enough that all of our products are made from scratch and that nothing we sell is mass produced. Feel free to read the section on our process.

When we do finish a customer's purchase, it will typically be sent off within a few hours of completion. Once sent, we update the customer on the progress as well as sending them a tracking number for their purchase.

Orders for the North and South Islands usually arrive within 3-4 days, however, rural deliveries may take up to 10 days. Fortunately, there will always be a tracking number to follow up on.
